Southern California
Welcome to Southern California's 2024 Annual Report
Providence’s commitment to serve all, especially those who are poor and vulnerable, extends beyond the walls of our ministries. Across California, we partner with like-hearted organizations to help ensure our communities have access to care, food, shelter and other critical resources.
In 2024, Providence invested $437 million in community benefit across Southern California. Strategic investments supported multiple programs, including:
- Partnership with Northgate Markets to support Los Angeles communities with health screenings, educational resources, food distributions and more.
- Health care brought directly to the doorsteps of 8,000 families across the San Fernando Valley.
- Accessible, comprehensive health care services for underserved Orange County women and families.
- Clinics and a mobile health van to address physical, mental and social health disparities in the High Desert.
These are just a few examples of Providence’s commitment to the community. I hope you will take time to read our 2024 annual report to learn about the many ways Providence is investing in the health of our communities. We are grateful to work with community partners in pursuit of our vision of health for a better world.
